PROFILE

My name is Ioannis Karagiannis.

I am a Mechanical Engineer graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and hold a PhD from the School of Architecture  of NTUA in the scientific field of Architectural Acoustics.

I am a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), a partner of the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA) and a member of the European Acoustics Association (EAA).

I work as an acoustic consultant. In parallel, I conduct research in the field of acoustics and am also active in music.

The office is based in Athens and undertakes projects throughout Greece and abroad. Its scope of services focuses on the relationship between sound, the built environment, and the surrounding context. By combining scientific methodology with practical experience, the office aims to ensure optimal acoustic conditions, tailored to the intended use and specific characteristics of each space.

Over the years, the office has successfully completed projects across a wide range of contexts and continues to do so, responding to all kinds of acoustic challenges.
